House, cottage and outbuilding. House has lintel inscribed: "I & IH/1746";
later additions. Roughcast stone with slate roof. L-plan, 2 storeys. South
range of 6 bays, the 5th and 6th bays later; C18 to C19 wing to western angle.
South elevation has 2-light recessed flat-faced-mullioned windows to 1st 4 bays,
but 1st floor has 2 windows with missing mullions, and single light to 1st bay.
end 2 bays have C20 casements. Wing has sashed windows, some with glazing
bars. Entrance to 3rd bay has dated lintel and C20 half-glazed door. Gable-end
stack and cross-axial stack. Rear has outshut under catslide roof and varied
fenestration. East range has entrance and lean-to outshut to gabled 1st bay,
with C20 casement above. Barn to north has segmental-headed entrance with C20
paired doors and overlight. End cottage of 2 bays has small sashed windows with
single glazing bars and horns and plain entrance; cross-axial stack. Interior
not inspected, said to have winding stone stair.
