Farmhouse and barn all under one roof. House C17 with later alterations and
lean-to additions to West. Barn late C17 or early C18. Limestone rubble walls,
partly roughcast; graduated greenslate roof with stone ridge and one end chimney
stack at ridge; one chimney stack on lean-to. 2 storeys. Main front of house
to East: 3 irregular bays with C20 windows and door. Barn has 4 doors to lower
floor, wagon doors to first floor approached up ramp. Interior of house has
spice cupboard with initials and date W and A W 1665 and altered early C18
staircase with turned balusters. Interior of barn: 7 bays, roof of simple
collar and tie beam trusses with ridge piece and 2 levels of purlins.
