Farmhouse. Late C18 with extensions dated 1838 over rear doorway. Painted
stucco walls, with raised red sandstone quoins, pebble-dashed to rear, under
graduated greenslate roof with stone and brick chimney stacks. Original house
to rear has front 2-storey, 2-bay extension in double span with further
right-angled 2-storey, 3-bay left extension, forming overall L-shape. Panelled
door and overlight in stone surround. Sash windows with glazing bars, all
under hoodmoulds. Left extension has slightly-projecting gable, the left return
wall with similar windows. Rear of original house has round-headed staircase
window.
