House, dated 1736 with later extension. Coursed, squared rubble with quoins;
extension has snecked rubble front and coursed rubble side with quoins.
Graduated slate roof has stone coping with kneelers to south end; stone end and
mid chimneys. 2 storeys. Original house was symmetrical, of 3 bays, with
central panelled door; single 2-light mullioned window to either side and above,
all sashes in chamfered surrounds. Moulded frame with semicircular head above
door has inner panel with hearts and flowers decoration; dated 1736, only the
husband's initials, T.R., remain, the wife's initial having been removed.
