House, dated 1743 with later additions. Ashlar with rusticated quoins on
chamfered plinth; lintel band to ground floor windows, band and cavetto moulding
to eaves. Graduated slate roof with original outshut to rear; stone copings,
kneelers, and end chimneys. Symmetrical 2-storey, 5-bay front has panelled door
within segmentally pedimented doorcase; inscription within pediment: John Hall
1743. 2 windows to either side and 5 above, all in architraves; mostly sashes
with glazing bars. One mullioned 2-light window survives in outshut. Former
single-storey wash-house adjoining west end has inserted C20 casement to front;
former 2-storey C19 coach house adjoining east end now garage. Informed by
occupant that original interior fittings survive.
