enclosure to south of
St Michael's Church

Tomb, with inscriptions on hipped top to members of Walton family dated 1807 and
1862. Constructed on sandstone with elaborately carved panel to each side
between pilasters decorated with classical urns in low relief: Christ with angel
on north side; body on bed surrounded by mourners with death in attendance on
south side. Square railed enclosure has diagonally-set pointed standards with
urn finials to corner posts.
