Murton Hall

Barn, built as wing to Murton Hall in C17; later additions and alterations.
Coursed, squared rubble with quoins. Graduated slate roofs with stone-flagged
eaves. Full-height C20 door to threshing floor has blocked 3-light mullioned
window and single-light window to right on each floor; hoodmoulds with labels.
C20 garage door and window to ground floor left; above is door with false
4-centred head between blocked mullioned windows under hoodmoulds with labels,
one 2-light and the other 3-light. Other blocked mullioned windows to rear.
Internally, large segmental arch to blocked fireplace visible in south wall.
