House, now doctor's surgery and flat. Early C19 with earlier range to rear
dated and inscribed over entrance J.J.R. 1730. Incised stucco with dentilled
cornice and V-jointed quoins on moulded plinth. Graduated slate roof with brick
chimney stacks. 3 storeys, 4 bays, bay to left over archway, with 3 bays to
rear in overall L-shape and adjoining earlier house of 2 storeys, 2 bays now an
outbuilding. 6-panel door in reeded pilaster surround with entablature under
dentilled cornice. Large canted bay window to right. Segmental archway has
alternate block surround and false keystone. Sash windows in painted stone
architraves, those on first floor with dentilled cornices. Rear extension has
incised cement-rendered walls and Welsh slate roof. Panelled doors in painted
stone surrounds and sash windows with glazing bars. Earlier house has top
glazed 6-panel door in chamfered surround under inscribed and dated lintel.
