Watermill, now private house. Probably late C18 or early C19. Whitewashed
sandstone rubble with flush quoins under C20 tile roof and C20 brick chimney
stack. 2 storeys, 5 bays in L-shape. External stone steps to first floor C20
door. C20 window to right of steps and on upper floor. Projecting gabled bay
to right has C20 door in alternate-block surround and small C20 window above.
End wall right has external mill wheel. Interior of end bay has complete mill
machinery, retained as a feature of interest in an otherwise C20 house. C20
garage in the process of construction at time of survey, to left, is not of
interest. Listed partly for G.V. with Sowerby Mill.
