- garden walls and gate piers

Pair of houses, front garden walls and gate piers. Circa mid C19. Dressed coursed
granite. Scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the gable ends.
Plan: double depth plan. Pair of originally identical 1 room wide houses with
entrance lobbies and stairs adjoining at the middle.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window south east front with pair of doorways in
the middle and blind window opening over. Left-hand house (No. 5) has C20 door and
original 12-pane hornless sashes, the other house has C20 door and circa late C19 or
C20 4-pane horned sashes.
Interiors: not inspected.
Shallow garden at the front. Original coped granite ashlar wall in front of No. 5,
later rock-faced granite wall in front of No. 6. Granite monolithic gate piers.
