Farmhouse. Circa 1772 extended in the C19. Granite ashlar front, otherwise granite
moorstone rubble with granite dressings. Fairly steep scantle slate roof sweeping
lower over later outshut at rear. Brick chimneys over the gable ends.
Plan: Originally a 2-room plan with slightly larger kitchen living room on the left
and parlour on the right with cross passage or lobby between. In the C19 service
rooms were added in a rear outshut and the stair is between these rooms. A C19 earth
closet adjoins the rear right-hand corner.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 window south-east front with doorway and
window over slightly right of middle. Small C20 porch with gable-ended slate roof
and glazed doors. Circa mid-C20 horned. 6-pane sashes.
Interior: Simple interior has beamed ceilings and some original 2-panel doors. Old,
possibly original roof structure, not inspected.
