House converted to restaurant with domestic accommodation. Circa mid C18 partly
remodelled in early C19. Stuccoed and rendered stone rubble. Bitumen-coated and
cement washed rag slate roof with hipped ends and rear wing on left with gable end.
Brick end stacks with stone rubble and brick stack on rear gable end.
Front range of 2 room and central cross passage plan. Stair to rear of passage,
incorporated in service wing which extends to rear of left hand room and is heated by
a gable end stack.
2 storeys. Symmetrical three window front with central bay set slightly forward. Two
early C19 16-pane hornless sashes flank central part glazed early C20 door in circa
C19 doorcase with pediment. First floor with three early C19 16-pane hornless sashes.
Interior : Circa early C19 plaster cornices in front reception rooms. C20 chimney
pieces. Circa early C19 open string stair with stick balusters and ramped rail.
