Ruins of a small house, possibly originally associated with the mine to the east.
Circa mid C19. Granite rubble and moorstone. Roof structure removed. Stone rubble
end stack.
Plan: very small 1-cell house with entrance in lower right hand gable end. Heated by
end stack on higher left hand gable end.
Exterior: Single storey with single window opening on front, the window frame
removed. Entrance in lower right hand gable end and window adjoining fireplace on
higher left hand gable end.
Interior: Roughly cut granite lintel to fireplace.
Particularly interesting survival of a very small 1-cell house. Directly to west of
Butter's Tor.
