House. Circa early C19. Roughly coursed stone ashlar. Rag slate roof with gable
ends. Stone rubble end stack on right and brick end stack on left.
Plan: 2-room and cross passage plan. Small C20 1-room extension on left.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front with dressed stone flat
arches to openings. C20 door in centre flanked by 2 C19 16-pane sashes with 2 C19
16-pane sashes on first floor and probably C20 16-pane sash in centre.
Interior: Not inspected.
West Park is one of three similar cottages (qv Farmhouse and adjoining cottage 90
metres to north west of West Park and cottage 150 metres to north of West Park) on
west side of unspoilt and picturesque valley.
