House. Circa early C19. Slatestone rubble to first floor and rendered cob above.
Ashlar granite quoins and lintels. Rag slate roof with the gable ends and brick end
stacks.
Plan: The house was probably built as a pair of 1-room plan cottages, the 2
entrances near the centre and the ground floor rooms to right and left heated by end
stacks. Converted to form 1 2-room plan house with entrance to left of centre in
circa early to mid C20.
Exterior: Regular 2 window front, with granite lintels to ground floor openings.
Entrance to left of centre with partly glazed C20 plank door and small C20 lean-to
timber porch. Blocked entrance originally to right hand cottage, adjoining to right.
2 4-pane sashes to right and left. 2 circa early C19 hornless 16-pane sashes on
first floor.
Interior: Not inspected.
Unaltered cottage forming group with Oak Cottage (qv).
