House. Probably late C18 extended in early C19. Stone rubble, rendered on left hand
gable end. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks.
Plan: Probably originally a one-room plan cottage, heated by end stack, extended in
circa early C17 with second room, heated by end stack. The service outshut across
the rear has been built in three phases during the C19 and there is a C20 outshut on
the left hand end.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical two window front. The window openings have
been boarded. There is a C19 lean-to stone rubble porch near centre with C20 plank
door in right hand side and with window opening on front. Window opening to left and
right with two openings on first floor.
Interior: Not accessible.
The house is isolated and stands in a valley between the unspoilt Codda Downs and
Hendra Downs.
