Pair of cottages, or farmhouse with added cottage. Probably early to mid
C19. Uncoursed rubble with granite quoins, scantle slate roof. Rectangular
single-depth plan, with lean-to additions to rear. Two storeys and 3+2
bays; the larger element to the left has a central doorway, 2 square 4-
pane sashed windows at ground floor and 3 taller 4-pane sashes above; the
cottage to the right has a doorway with 4-panel door next to the junction,
one 16-pane unhorned sashed window to the right and 2 above; all these
windows have exposed boxes, and all openings have quoined surrounds and
rectangular lintels. Chimneys at both gables and onthe ridge at the
junction. Rear has single-storey lean-to additions, and a small window
above. interior not inspected.
