Rectory, now house and office. Circa 1817-20. Granite ashlar, sides and
rear of uncoursed killas rubble with granite quoins and brick lintels; 2-span
slate roof. Double-pile plan. Two storeys (plus attics) and 5 bays,
symmetrical, in simple classical style, with plinth, cornice and blocking
course; the central round-headed doorway has a raised surround with
pilasters, imposts, semicircular fanlight with traceried radiating glazing
bars, and thin cornice; the windows are all 12-pane unhorned sashes with
raised sills and plain surrounds; the roofs have gable chimneys. The left
return wall has a 24-pane window in the centre (probably formerly a
doorway), a 16-pane sash to the rear, 12-pane sashes at 1st floor and 9-
pane sashes to the attics. Rear has mostly 16-pane sashed windows with
flat-arched brick heads. Interior altered.
