Chimney stack to former tin mine. Said to be c.1824, built by Arthur Woolf
for re-working of Pedn-an-drea Mine. Uncoursed killas (?) rubble with
granite dressings. Circular plan. Four sections, successively set back and
each capped by a dressed granite ring (lower half now ivy covered). Said to
have had 8 sections originally, one known to have been removed in 1891 and
two others in 1936. Very prominent landmark in the town.
