House, said to be known as "The Welcome". Probably late C18 or early C19;
altered. Rendered, probably on cob; slurried slate roof. Double-depth plan. Two
storeys and 2 bays, symmetrical; raised quoins; central doorway with plain
surround; two recessed 4-pane sashed windows on each floor, all with raised
surrounds. Gable chimneys. Rear: roof carried down to 2 low storeys, with 4-pane
sashed windows. Interior not inspected. Forms group with Lynmouth Cottage
which is attached at the right-hand end, and with carpenter's shop opposite.
