SW 62 SW BREAGE

Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Killas rubble with dressed granite quoins, sills,
jambstones and lintels. Half-hipped slurried scantle slate roof with brick chimneys
over side walls.
Double depth plan with 2 equal front rooms on either side of a central cross or
through passage leading to central stair between rear service rooms: back kitchen,
left, pantry right. The room over the pantry has blocked doorway which formerly led
to an appled loft over the adjoining outbuilding, right. There is a 2-storey C20
extension at right angles to the middle of the rear.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front facing approximately south with central
doorway within original hipped-roofed stone open-fronted porch. Original 6-panel
door flush beaded to bottom panels and with fluted lock rail. The windows are later
4-pane horned sashes in the original unaltered openings.
Interior not inspected.
Situated in unspoiled coastal farmland and little altered since C19.
