Well built into side of hill. Circa early C19 structure probably remodelling of
ancient covered spring. Granite rubble with granite dressings and segmentally-headed
brick arch over.
Deep tunnel into side of hill with low wall within entrance to dam spring water.
Brick vault over tunnel.
