Farmhouse, circa C18 or earlier, whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof and
brick chimneys in gable ends. Main part, single depth with gabled ends with wing
projecting forward to south-east, in L-shape under gable end and further staircase
projection to rear under hipped roof. 2 storeys, asymmetrical, 5-window range in
angle formed by projecting wings. Partly glazed C19 door near junction on south
east wing with 4-pane sash (without horns) directly above. On south-west wing
ground floor with 2-light casement (with glazing bars) and 10-pane sash. Two 6-
pane sashes (no horns) above. Simple staircase with turned thin newels and
straight balusters. Moulded rail. Chamfered rough timber lintel over fireplace on
north-east room. Cloam oven. Outbuildings adjoining, continuing range.
Originally shippon with loft over and cartshed. Whitewashed stone and cob with
corrugated roof. 2 storeys and single storey on right. Small windows openings and
4-doorways. Only ground floor of farmhouse inspected internally.
