Methodist Chapel, 1860s. Whitewashed rubble stone with a slate roof. Symmetrical.
Pedimented front gable with 2 tall, round-headed sash windows with glazing bars and a
central round-arched opening with double doors (panelled but covered with thin sheet
of timber ) and fanlight above. Sides to north and south, 2 storey each with 3
rectangular sash windows with glazing bars. Sunday School behind. Vestibule with
original C19 wood panelling with some later glazing inserted. Staircase to gallery.
Rectangular auditorium has gallery on all sides with semi-circular ends. Panelled
front and paired brackets to soffits supported on cast iron columns. Simple pitch
pine pews. Decorative carved pitch pine pulpit.
