Farmhouse. Circa early C19. Serpentine rubble walls with dressed granite quoins,
sills, jambstones and flat arch stones. Hipped grouted scantle slate roofs with
brick chimneys surviving over side wall, right, and over either end of rear wing.
Cast iron ogee gutters.
Overall L-shaped plan with 2 reception rooms flanking central passage to front, stair
behind right-hand room and 2 rooms deep service wing behind stair, plus later C19
lean-tos in the angle and at rear end of wing.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window west entrance front with central doorway, 4 panel
door and horizontal and vertical panes to overlight. Original 12-pane hornless
sashes.
South garden front and other elevations also little altered since the C19 with many
original sashes.
Interior not inspected, but judging by the exterior may be intact. One of the few
early C19 farmhouses to survive in such complete and unaltered condition.
