Headstone. Dated 1791 in memory of Mary Newbury. Limestone. Upright slab standing
approximately 1.3 metres high with a low segmental head and concave corners. The
frame is a low relief architectural arch with fluted columns, plain caps, round
arched head inscribed with a biblical quotation and the keystone is carved as a
skull. The inscription, in upper and lower case Roman serif lettering, records the
death of Mary Newbury of 1791.
This headstone has been repositioned.
