3 chest tombs. Late C18 and early/mid C19. For Treweek family and Goldsworthy
family. Granite ashlar sides and slate lids. Each chest is rectangular on plan.
Ashlar sides have drill holes presumably for attaching further inscribed slates.
Plain slate lids with incised lettering.
South tomb, aligned north south, is to: Thomas Treweek, died 1841, aged 79 and
Cathering Treweek, died 1850, aged 77.
Tomb to north, aligned west to east: Francis Treweek, died 1840, aged 65. Most
northerly tomb, also west to east and partly fallen: Joseph Goldsworthy, died 1786;
Richard Goldsworthy, died 1797, aged 74, and Thomas, son of Richard and Mary
Goldsworthy, died 1806, aged 47.
