House. Late C19, with few later alterations. Slatestone rubble with granite
dressings. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends and axial stack with rubble shaft.
Plan: Principal room to front right and left, to right in a gabled bay; entrance to
right side and rear right gabled wing slightly projecting. Gothic style.
Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical 2-window front; all windows have C20 leaded lights,
with granite surrounds. Gabled bay to right has 3-light casement with hood mould at
ground and first floor, the gable with scalloped bargeboards and finial. To left, 2-
light window at ground and first floor with hood mould; scalloped eaves valance.
Attached to left, a small single storey wing with C20 French window. Right side has
gabled porch with granite lintel to doorway and similar bargeboards, single light to
side. Gabled bay slightly projecting to right, with 2-light window in plain granite
surround at ground and first floor. Same scalloped eaves valance and bargeboards.
Small C20 addition to right.
