Pair of cottages, early C19, possibly by Ignatius Bonomi. Chevron-tooled
dressed sandstone. Welsh slate roof with stone ridge and gable copings.
1½ storeys, 4 bays. Projecting middle bays under linked gables. Boarded
doors in chamfered surrounds in narrower end bays. Mid-C20 casements in
original chamfered surrounds. Hoodmoulds over ground-floor openings. Ridge
stack with 4 square, corniced, conjoined shafts. Mid/late C20 single-storey
rear extension is not of special interest. Included for group value.
