House. Circa mid C18 with early C18 wing to rear. Rendered rubblestone with granite
strings and rusticated granite quoins to base. Asbestos slate roof with rendered
brick stacks in hipped ends. Further rendered stack to rear. Rear wing slate hung
on south front right-hand gable end. Single depth plan with wing extended to rear
with outshut. Main range, two storeys and basement. 3 window symmetrical west front.
Basement with two 16-pane sashes without horns flanking panelled door. Three 20-pane
sashes (top 8-pane) without horns to ground floor and three 16-pane sashes above.
Deep overhanging eaves. Stair window on left-hand side with round headed sash. Rear
wing, two storeys almost symmetrical 3 window south front. Ground floor with 2
double sashes with glazing bars in top lights flanking panelled door. Above, 2
double sashes with glazing bars on right and in top lights of left-hand sash. Wooden
bellcote in ridge near centre. Square plan, corner posts, shaped valences, caves
cornice and ogee hipped lead roof.
Interior not inspected.
Haye family held Haye estate from at least the C14.
