Maltby Grange

House in 2 parts, early-mid C18 and mid C19, one part possibly used as hind's
cottage. Older part of local red brick. Roofs of pantile and Welsh slate.
Lower extension of original house has a hip-ended roof. Two storeys, 4 windows.
Sash windows, these of older part with full glazing bars, the rest with ver-
tical bars only. Upper windows of old part are of Yorkshire horizontal type
4-panel door in Tuscan porch in newer part. Rear elevation shows round arched
staircase window to each part, and the roof of the older part has been raised.
