Lodge to Norton Board School, dated 1872. Two storeys Tudor Gothic and
2 windows, coach arch to right. English bond brick with stone cills and
lintel to right-hand first floor window. Terracotta cill string to first
floor. Flat arch to first floor left-hand window. Sprocket eaves to slate
roof. Ground floor bay to left. Pointed arch of moulded bricks and low stone
import to former school alley; above is a panel with "A D Norton Board School
1872". Gable with lock above first floor window. Casement windows with glaz-
ing bars and wooden mullions. Entrance at side to East of arch in a 2 storey,
2-window extension.
