Formerly Nos 42 and 44. Substantial C18 house with a later south bay. Smooth
rendered with modern concrete tiles on a swept, high pitched roof with rebuilt
end chimneys. No 58 (the south bay) has pantiled roof. Replaced sash windows
with glazing bars, stuccoed lintels, stone cills. Modern windows on ground floor
of Nos 54 and 56. No 56 has a four-panel door. General appearance is of a farm-
house and cottage. Yorkshire lights behind.
