House. Dated 1604 on door lintel. Dressed sandstone; clay
pantile roof; stone ridge and gable copings. Stacks to R.H.S.
gable; ornamental stone finial to apex of L.H.S. gable. Through-
passage plan but with living accommodation both sides. 2
storeys. Moulded drip string between floors. 3 bays. Stone
mullioned casement windows, new mullions to 5 windows of which 2
have been enlarged c.1970. Off-centre 4-centred-arched doorway
with decorated lintel. W (L.H.S.) gable-end retains 3 original
mullioned windows and remains of truncated projecting flue to
L.H.S. now containing a doorway (c.1970). Extension adjoining
E. (R.H.S.) gable, of c.1970, is not of interest.
