Cottage, Alderley Road

Parish boundary stone: dated 1789. Ashlar buff sandstone.
Rectangular block with a shaped curved top has M (for Macclesfield)
1789 in well cut seriffed letters in visible face as the stone is
leaning over. The other face seems to have exfoliated.

Part of this stone is in the former Macclesfield Urban District.
