Canal aqueduct on the Macclesfield Canal over road and stream, c1827. By Thomas Telford. Ashlar. Two round arches.
Eastern front: road arch at right and stream arch at lower level to left. Arches are similar, both having central arch with voussoirs and projecting keystone and retaining walls set at 90 degrees with curved walling at corners and sloping shoulders to the retaining walls capped by chamfered coping.
