Mid C18, 3 storeys. Brick, slate roof, parapet with plain stone coping, 2 stringcourses Long and short stone quoins. Ground floor has mid Cl9 shop front and archway to rear, with segmental enriched arches, plate glass and piers between; wood cornice over shop front, with dentils, appears to be original, partly restored. Upper floors have 5 plain sash windows, with glazing bars, stone keys and sills, and flat brick heads.
Nos 11, 13, 39 to 45 (odd), The Lion Hotel, Nos 2, 4, 8 to 14 (even), Nos 16, 18 and 20, and Nos 22-24 form a group.
