Dated 1833. Tall 2 storeyed brick building, with parapet, and band between storeys.
Large 2-storeyed bay windows in centre with mullions and transoms, battlemented
at top, and cornice band following line of gable. Large flanking 5-sided turrets
with narrow slits, and 4-centred arched entrances carved "girls" and "boys".

Former National School, Marquis of Granby Public House, and Sykes shoe repairs
form a group.
