Terrace of 5 cottages, early C19. Flemish bond brown brick with a
gabled roof of graded grey slates. 4 (formerly 5) brick chimneys.
Each cottage is of 2 storeys and 1 window. Recessed 16 pane sashes.
The lower sash to the bedroom of No.12 is of 6 (instead of 8) panes;
some glazing bars have been removed from Nos.16 and 20. Boarded doors
(with modern hinges and furniture) in round-arched openings with
radial-bar fanlights.
A simple but well preserved example of its type.
