Farmhouse, mid Cl7, altered. Oak small-frame largely rebuilt
externally in brick C19 and provided with false-framing to front late
C19. Blue clay-tile double-pile roof. Of 2 storeys and 3 windows
with gabled dormers to front. Wood casements with C19 lattice leads.
Framed and boarded door probably late C19. A small rear wing (right)
has C17 oak small-frame. Datestone 1655 on right chimney.
Interior: Lobby entrance with 2 back-to-back inglenooks behind
baffle, that to the right altered. Chamfered oak beams in the 3 front
rooms (1 to right of lobby, 2 to left). Dogleg stair with turned
balusters, probably mid C18. C17 oak framing visible at rear in upper
rooms. Oak purlins.
