Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 with C18 and C20 additions. Timber
framed, rendered infill and thatched roof. Entrance front: 9 x 2
cells of small framing with angle braces to fifth post from left and
far right. Doorway at extreme left and two 2-light casement windows
to ground floor. Four-light swept dormer window at right of first
floor and similar 2-light window at left. To the right of this a
single storey C18 addition of 8 x 2 cells of small framing with an
angle brace at the far right and three 2-light casement windows. To
the left is a projecting gabled and jettied 2-storey addition. Left
hand gable end: 4 x 2 cells of small framing with thin angle brace at
left and queen post strut to gable. Rear: 7 x 2 cells of small
framing to single storey portion at left. C20 brick chimney breast
with offsets between this and the C17 portion which has 4 x 2 cells of
small framing at the left with a C20 3-light ground floor window and a
3-light swept dormer above. To the right of this is a C20 outshut
with the projecting C20 gable ended wing to the right.
Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor rooms.
