SJ 67 NW MARBURY C.P. MARBURY ROAD

1/6 Marbury Mill

GV II

Water-powered cornmill, lower 2 storeys probably C17 with 3rd storey
and loft added C19. Largely plastered, but with some oak framing with
diagonal braces exposed in lower 2 storeys. 4 horizontally-sliding
sashes in 3rd storey. Grey slate roof; brick outshut right and
open-fronted lean-to loading bay to front on timber posts. Cast iron
breast-wheel; full train of machinery, probably late C19, with 3 pairs
of underdrift stones and wooden oat-roller.
