Cart shed and barn. Probably late C18, incorporating medieval fabric. Coursed
squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and quoins; some brick patching;
corrugated asbestos roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. North elevation has 4 segmental
arches with voussoirs and projecting keys; 4 blocked openings above have flat
stone lintels with low-relief wedges, and projecting stone sills. Left return
gable has round-headed metal-framed window in partly-blocked 2-centred opening,
without surround; right return has side stone steps to loft door under flat
stone lintel, and chamfered door jamb adjacent to rear corner of one-storey,
one-bay pent extension.
