Farmhouse. Early C19. Red Flemish bond brick with white vitrified
headers and plain tile roof. Entrance front: three bays symmetrically
disposed. Central front door with classical surround having fluted
pilaster strips to either side supporting dosseret and open
pediment enclosing a fanlight. Six-panel door, the lower two panels
flush the central two raised and fielded and the upper two glazed, To
either side at ground floor level are sash windows with stone sills
and wedge lintels of 4 x 3 panes. To the first floor are two similar
lateral windows with a central window of 3 x 3 panes and to the second
floor are three blind windows of 4 x 2 panes to either side and 3 x 2
panes to the centre. Gable stacks to either side. To the right of
the house is a lean-to outahut of later date and projecting at right
is a recessed range of farm buildings with a basket-arched driftway at
left which has ashlar hinge dressings.
