House C17. Timber framed with brick infill and Flemish bond brick.
Plain tile C19 roof. Two storeys. Northern front: rendered plinth
supporting 13 x 3 cells of uneven small framing with angle braces with
four C20 windows of 2 lights and two 3-light C20 dormer windows. To
the right and left ends are portions of brick walling returned from
the gable ends to form clasping buttresses. Ridge chimney stacks to
the far right and the left of centre. The left hand gable end is of
brick with a timber framed gable with plaster infill. The ground
floor 3-light casement window has mullions and a Tudor hood-mould of
moulded brick. The gable contains a 2-light casement window and above
it are inscribed the letters A D with two coats of arms between and
below, divided by the window, the date 1881.
