Garden wall, forming N side of a walled orchard. Late C18, with C19 repairs.
Red brick laid in Flemish bond, with plain brick coping. Approximately 2
metres high and 60 metres long. Angular rather than curving, consists of 10
zigzags, with a short C19 section of straight wall to centre. Returns at each
end to run southwards for approximately 5 metres, beyond which the garden is
bounded by lower C19 walls. Included as an example of an architectural
feature rarely found in this area (and the only known example in
Bedfordshire).
