Row of four attached houses. Early - mid C19, with C20 alterations. Stone rubble,
rendered, No. 2 pebbledashed. Slate roofs with ridge tiles and gable ends to Nos. 1
and 2, hipped at the left end to No. 4. Each pair has a shared axial stack, with a
brick shaft to left and a rendered shaft to right.
Plan: The houses are arranged in 2 pairs, with Nos. 1 and 2 to right and Nos. 3 and 4
to left; the houses are stepped down the hill, with Nos. 3 and 4 at lower level.
Each house is of 2-room plan, with one room to front and one to rear, with back-to
back fireplaces from the axial stacks.
Exterior: No. 1 is 2-storey, with C19 12-pane sash at ground and first floor to left,
C20 glazed door to right.
No. 2 is 2-storey, with C19 12-pane sash at ground and first floor ro right, C19 4-
panelled door to left.
No. 3 is 2-storey, with 12-pane sash at ground and first floor to left, half-glazed
door to right.
No. 4 is 2-storey, with 12-pane sash at ground and first floor to right, C20 half-
glazed door to left. At the left end, C20 porch and door to left, C20 window at
first floor to left.
