2 houses and cottage/workshop comprising one property. Late C18. Incised
cement render with eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins, on moulded plinth.
Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; cement rendered
chimney stacks. Cottage/workshop has painted roughcast walls, with battlemented
parapet, under hipped graduated greenslate roof with brick chimney stacks on
ashlar bases. 2 storeys, 5 bays with extension behind Nos. 7 & 9 to left and
single-storey 2-bay cottage/workshop to rear. Central through archway has
double wrought-iron gates under interlace wooden overlight, all in round-arched
quoined surround. Sash windows in painted stone architraves. Side doorway from
passage to No.13. Rear doorways had C19 Tuscan doorcases, now C20 replicas.
Interior has upper-floor panelled room over archway. Room to left has late C18
moulded plaster ceiling. Lead pump in rear ground-floor kitchen had initials
ITM 1792. Cottage/workshop has sash windows with intersecting glazing bars.
