Farmhouse. Circa late C18 or early C19, possibly a remodelling of an older house.
Killas rubble walls with granite dressings. Scantle slate hipped roofs. Brick
chimneys over the side walls.
Plan: Irregular L-shaped plan: 2 rooms at the front flanking an entrance hall
leading to stair hall; service room in outshut behind the right-hand room a probably
1-room-plan wing at right angles behind the far left-hand front room and a small 1-
room plan wing set back on the far left.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window east front with doorway and window
over, slightly left of middle, plus blind wall of small wing set back on the left.
Probably original 6-panel door with single-pane fanlight within original round-headed
doorcase. Original hornless sashes. Flat arches with projecting keystones to ground
floor openings, 12-pane sash over doorway, otherwise 12-pane sashes with sidelights
(similar windows to left-hand wall of kitchen wing).
Interior not inspected.
