House, formerly farmhouse. Circa 1850 with C17 range attached at rear left.
Slatestone rubble walling unpainted. C18 work has rusticated granite quoins and
four rusticated granite quoined chimney stacks rising out of steeply pitched
slate roof, hipped all round. Double depth plan. Symmetrical 2-storey, 5
window, front with central granite quoined doorway. Quoins are chamfered, long
and short throughout. All windows circa 1850 have plain granite lintels and
granite jambs and sills. Each window frame is 2 pane per sash on the front, 6
pane per sash on the rear. Tall rectangular rear stair window. Small 8 pane
casement to left outshut. A cupola with ogee lead covered roof surmounted by a
weather vane rises from within the central part of the roof. C17 range
whitewashed, rendered cob with slate roof has truncated lateral stack. C19
joinery, fireplaces and staircase.
